Focused on a real entrepreneurial, creative culture which is down to earth (non-corporate) they are looking for an ambitious Head of Finance to have a significant impact on the business. There is a flexible, hybrid model and they are open to talking with candidates across Europe from some of the top fintech start-ups and scale-ups.

Role & Responsibilities

The Head of Finance will report directly to an extremely high calibre CFO and will also have significant exposure to the wider Senior Leadership team ensuring exceptional Business Partnering support, KPI analytics and FP&A / Budgeting.

Leading a small team with a Financial Controller and FP&A Lead the Head of Finance will also have ultimate responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of the Finance function ensuring robust controls, governance and improved Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Modelling and Analysis.

  • Implement world class finance processes and systems

  • Manage and build out a high performing finance team

  • Oversee the FP&A Lead’s production of financial planning and analysis (FP&A)

  • Maintain tight control of cash and financial controls through effective management of a Financial Controller

  • Review of financial statements and Management Accounts ensuring insightful commentary and analysis

  • Extensive financial reporting to the Board, ensuring they’ve got all numbers and key metrics

  • Support the CEO and CFO on future funding rounds

  • Oversee the implementation of a new ERP system (Netsuite)

Requirements

Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

  • Extremely smart with excellent communication skills

  • Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue learning

  • Willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in across Finance

  • Commercially astute

£100,000 - £120,000 + share options
